Morning Star family farm Day Camps

Showing the next generation where real food comes from.

Our day camps are designed to give children first-hand experience with how healthy food is grown, satisfying every child's need to connect with animals and educating them for a lifetime of healthy eating.  We hold separate camps for younger and older children, allowing for differences in ability and attention span.

Farmer for a Day Junior

Ages 5-9 - $40 per child

Wednesday, June 7, 2017, 10 am - 2 pm

Come to the farm to meet the animals! Chickens, cattle, pigs, and more await your child in this hands-on experience.  Your child will help collect eggs, pick Certified Naturally Grown garden produce, and feed the livestock, plus learn why animals are happier and healthier when they live outside in the fresh air and sunshine.

Farmer for a Day

Ages 10-14 - $50 per child

Wednesday, June 28, 9 am - 3 pm

Experience working on a real farm!

This day camp is designed to give your child a taste of all of the jobs on the farm.  Spending time with each farm enterprise, your child will come away with a real appreciation for what farmers do to bring food from the field to your table.
